\nIn a shocking and candid interview with<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Rolling Stone magazine, Paris Jackson, the only daughter of the late \u201cKing of Pop\u201d Michael Jackson, revealed that she attempted\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0suicide several times due to severe depression<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0and that she was\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0raped by a stranger at age 14.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Although Paris, now 18, made headlines for a suicide attempt in 2013, the superstar\u2019s daughter revealed it wasn\u2019t a one-time occurrence.<\/p>\n

\u201cI tried to commit suicide several times<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0,\u201d the young woman told the aforementioned publication. In June of that year, mired in depression and drug addiction, she attempted suicide by slitting her wrists.<\/p>\n

Suicidal thoughts began after her father\u2019s death in 2009. \u201cThey always say time heals, but it really doesn\u2019t. You just get used to it,\u201d she explained to the publication.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u201cI lost what mattered most to me. (\u2026) So, from now on, nothing bad can happen. (\u2026) I feel it with me all the time<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0.\u201d<\/p>\n

Paris also self-harmed. She covered many of the scars she still has on her body with some of her 50 tattoos.<\/p>\n

Far from those difficult times, Paris reflects: \u201cI hated myself. I thought I couldn\u2019t do anything right, that life wasn\u2019t worth living anymore.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0I did a lot of things a girl shouldn\u2019t do. I tried to grow up too quickly, and I wasn\u2019t that kind of person<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chanel\u2019s new face, who long struggled with addiction and depression, also suffered sexual abuse at age 14. Although she declined to elaborate on the incident, she said she was attacked by a stranger.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u201cIt wasn\u2019t a good experience at all, and it was very difficult for me. I didn\u2019t tell anyone at the time.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

The pop icon had Paris and her older brother, Prince, with Debbie Rowe, a patient he was married to for several years. Years later, Jackson had his third child, Blanket, with a surrogate mother.<\/p>\n

Michael Jackson protected his children so much from media harassment that they even wore masks in public. At a tribute following the singer\u2019s death, Paris, then 11, surprised the audience by taking the stage and saying that Michael was\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u201cthe best father you could ever imagine.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cHe was hinting that someone was trying to get him. And at one point, he said, \u2018One day they\u2019ll kill me,\u2019\u201d she said. \u201cIt sounds like a conspiracy theory and a lie, but the real fans and family know. He was framed. It was all a lie.\u201d<\/p>\n
