The movie star \u2013 who in real life has three children with her husband, cinematographer Daniel Moder \u2013 wore a white shirt over a cream blouse and teamed it with baggy blue jeans.<\/p>\n

Her long brown hair wasn\u2019t styled glamorously to play Barbara Weston, a character from a family that overcomes certain differences when its alcoholic patriarch disappears.<\/p>\n

During the intense scene, Ewan held Julia\u2019s hand in eager anticipation as they walked to a boat dock to identify a dead body for a sheriff.<\/p>\n

Mummy-like appearance: The Pretty Woman actress looked a bit dowdy as she filmed the intense scene in which they had to identify a corpse for a sheriff<\/p>\n

Upon seeing the corpse, Julia begins to cry, seeking comfort from Ewan\u2019s character, Bill Fordham, as she continues to cry in his arms.<\/p>\n

She may have been hysterically upset during the scene, but moments later, between takes, Julia was dying of laughter.<\/p>\n

The actress appeared alongside Julianne Nicholson, who appeared to be pointing out something quite funny to the group.<\/p>\n

Not her usual look: She wore jeans and layered tops for the role of Barbara Weston<\/p>\n

The Boardwalk Empire star also looked dowdy, wearing a pair of shire blue trousers, brown bell-bottoms and her hair tied back in a ponytail.<\/p>\n

Other stars of the 2013 film include Benedict Cumberbatch as \u2018Little Charles Aiken\u2019 and Meryl Streep and Violet Weston.<\/p>\n

The film\u2019s IMBd page states that Ren\u00e9e Zellweger and Andrea Riseborough were considered for the role.<\/p>\n

Riseborough was cast, but dropped out due to scheduling conflicts. Juliette Lewis replaced her as Karen Weston.<\/p>\n

Chlo\u00eb Moretz auditioned for the role of Jean Fordham, but lost to Abigail Breslin.<\/p>\n
